And I'm sure Winston-Salem has a surplus in their budget in order to fight the lawsuit which is sure to ensue. The Moore lawsuit is going to cost the taxpayers of Alabama somewhere around $300,000 (probably more once the final bills from the plaintiffs are in to the judge).

The councilman has no more right to place the block of rock where he did than any other resident of Winston-Salem, and you're assuming that the city won't just move the monument on its own (and possibly bill him for the cost of hauling it away). Maybe the city could put it in his front yard!

There will not be a lawsuit. If the city decides not to accept the gift, Mr. Robinson would probably just have the monument moved.

Last I heard (and it's been a while), it costs $1 million to incarcerate one person for life. If it saves just one person from committing a murder and from spending a lifetime in prison, it will be a bargain. It might eventually put the abortion mills out of business, prevent the break-up of marriages and homes, and bring this nation back to a relationship with God, which would make him heal this land and restore our freedom. One can't put a price tag on that.

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Yea, well, that is only if you are stupid enough to pay a lawyer to defend the suit. The judge is more than capable enough to make up his mind without the city having to spend gobs of cash on a lawyer to argue the merits.

When it is time to present your case, enter a few well known documents as evidence (including current U.S. currency, pictures of the Supreme Court chambers, etc.), rest your case and wait for a decision that likely has been made before the judge ever heard one word of the trial (which way it goes depends on the judge).

The only way to win the game is not to play it. Let the other side spend all they want. Get caught up in the lawyer and spending game and you lose from day one.

$300K??? Wow.

There are a lot of people who have paid with their LIFE for understanding that the rule of law begins with the 10 Commandments.

Come up with a better reason to avoid Nature's God, please.
