As a long suffering Red Sox fan, I can understand what the Eagles' fans are learning.
Allow me to explain: there is an intense tightening of the esophagus, along with an inability to breath, coughing, making wild noises, and lashing about as if stricken by Mad Cow Disease. This is followed by a loss of any hope of recovery. The Heimlich Maneuver is useless in these situations, as the victim has already reached a terminal stage, cause of death: choking.
