I hope all the airlines go bankrupt. I am doing my part to make this a reality.

You have at least two things in common with Osama bin Laden. I resent inconvenience and officiousness as much as the next guy, but I recall noting in August 2001 how lax airline security really was. I was glad that no one really wanted to hurt us. 9-11 shook me out of my Libertarian torpor.

Osama doesn't give a flying F^%$ about airlines.

He wants to end the American way of life, which is freedom.

So you see, you actually have more in common with Osama.

And it's just as lax today. There was some big name task fors that put out a report a couple of weeks ago that stated something to the effect that what's been done is just harass the law abiding without reducing the terrorist risk.

You don't need nearly as much security hassle among your own people if the other guys blanche at the thought of the retribution you'd be willing to met out indescriminately upon them...
