4 illegal aliens gang-rape woman in NYC

Four illegal aliens were among the five men who brutally gang-raped a New York City woman.

The woman described her ordeal in a scathing letter to state Supreme Court Justice Randall Eng, saying the men carried out their attack like "a pack of wild wolves in search of their prey."

"They punched me so hard that I was knocked to the floor," the 43-year-old victim wrote before Eng sentenced one of her attackers Thursday, Victor Cruz, to 21 years in prison, the New York Post reported.

"They savagely dragged me like an animal, like a piece of furniture, and took me to a secluded area of the park, a hut, a foul place that smelled so bad that not even animals should be made to be there, where I was brutally and repeatedly raped by five or more men," she said of the Dec. 19, 2002 attack.

The New York paper said Cruz, Luis Carmona, Carlos Rodriguez, Armando Juvenal and José Hernandez pleaded guilty in December to rape and kidnapping charges in exchange for sentences of 20 to 23 years.

"This is a crime that can only be described as one of blood-chilling inhumanity," Eng told Cruz, 22, who apologized to the woman, according to the Post.

All of the attackers, except Carmona, were in the United States illegally, the New York daily said, which prompted criticism from groups who charge the Immigration and Naturalization Service consistently fails to deport dangerous illegals.

The victim, a mother of two, said she is afraid to go out, has nightmares and is unable to sleep.

"I feel depressed and sad most of the time, and cannot even perform simple activities a lot of times," she wrote.

The attack took place in Queens at 9:30 p.m. on a walkway connecting the National Tennis Center to Shea Stadium.

According to the New York Daily News, she was sitting on a bench with her boyfriend after a dinner date when suddenly they were surrounded by about nine men who "acted like a pack of wild wolves," grabbing her while they punched and kicked her 37-year-old boyfriend.

She was dragged to a shantytown along the Long Island Rail Road tracks where at least three of the men lived and was sexually tortured for three hours before being rescued by police, the Daily News said.

Juvenal, Carmona and Rodriguez are to be sentenced next Thursday. Hernandez will undergo a psychiatric exam and be sentenced next month.

The victim is suing the city and the Metropolitan Transit Authority for $50 million

In a brief statement, Cruz apologized for the attack.

"I hope she will one day be able to overcome this nightmare," he said

As long as there are people willing to defend the new policy proposal, as long as we keep the borders wide freaking open, and as long as there are RINOs which think that 8 to 10 million more illegals on top of the 10 plus already here is a good thing, then yes, I will post every item of news relating to illegal immigration that I find.

Good for you. Bravo.

But...but...but...I thought they were just here to work? You know...doing the jobs that no other American wants...sending the money back home to lovingly care for their families? Trying to provide a better life and all that?

I mean...that's what the press tells me about illegals...

"...did..."

O'Reilly had mentioned that the original articles did not. I stand corrected.

Thanks for posting. And to add insult to injury these lowlifes will be incarcerated for years with "three hots and a cot" living better than they ever had in their whole lives at great expense to American taxpayers. Illegal aliens cost the American taxpayers 40 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR! (you can buy a lot of border security with forty billion) DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS INCLUDING THE INCARCERTATED! Until the borders are secured and the all illegals are deported there is no "war on terrorism", there is no "war on drugs" and there definitely is "no homeland security!" Semper Fi, Kelly

Well, it's been in the news for a while. As I recall, the *very* first article I read did not mention their immigration status, but it all came out soon afterwards.

Probably because everyone pretty much knew the score anyway, and there was no point in trying to whitewash it...

Illegals and violent crime are a major problem. When one of our citizens are raped or killed by some scumbag criminal that's not even supposed to be here we should scream to the heavens.

You should have seen the pictures of these criminals in the Daily News. They certainly didn't look like they came here to wash dishes or mow lawns, they look like they came here to do crime.

Now I suppose we get to feed, house & clothe them while they are in the slammer.

After those 20+ years of having a rent free room with three meals a day, clothes, education, medical and other perks, will they then be deported?

Whoever these "groups" are should watch for these aliens to be discharged from prison, then be sure they are Deported! Especially if they are released prior to the end of their sentences.

Here's my point.

By mentioning the fact that the crime was committed by illegals, it seems to take the emphasis away from crime and place it on who committed the crime. (that's what I meant by "hyping", the article seems to be emphasizing the status, rather than the crime).

The rape was brutal and awful. Gang rapists are scum. By inserting the "illegal" status of the criminals, it seems the crime is being minimized and the status of the criminals is what's emphasized.

Would the crime have been any less outrageous if a bunch of U.S. citizens would have committed it?

I have a family member that is a prison guard in upstate NY. Most of the bad people from NYC are sent upstate. My nephew sits in their dayroom, with them, while they watch tv. He is not allowed to decide what they watch, if he does he is reprimanded. The stories he tells of these animals.....

The DC/Northern Virginia metropolitan area has a huge gang problems, some having their mission to kill police. The great majority are made up of illegal aliens and legal immigrants.

Illegal aliens are criminals. They have shown their contempt for our laws and pose a threat to our safety. We can and should round them up and deport them. In a recent case in VA an illegal alien was charged with raping a five year old boy.

Let's not forget the 9/11 terrorists.
