ATLANTA (Reuters) - Several hundred protesters loudly booed President Bush on Thursday as he laid a wreath at the grave of Martin Luther King on the anniversary of the civil rights leader's birth.

"Bush go home" and "peace not war" the protesters shouted from behind a barrier of parked buses across the street from King's grave.

Oh, just ick!

I went to the ANSWER website to see if I could find pictures of the above-mentioned "Money for ME!" signs. Couldn't find them, but I DID find an announcement that our fine New York CIty Council has declared this year's Black History Month to be "Black Protest for Peace" month.

And the resolution was sponsored by those race pimps Charles Barron and Bill Perkins. That commie Larry Holmes is mentioned by name in the text. Barf...

While your historical look at lawn jockeys is correct, do you honestly think that this is what was meant as it was used here?

I don't think so.

Don't believe everything you hear. No one freezes to death standing in place. They were a throwback to the slave days when blacks would take care of visitors horses. There used to be an iron or concrete post but after slavery was abolished, people make sculptures to hold the rein ring.

We had them all over the fraternity house until we inducted a black guy. He painted one of them white and used modeling clay to create a tiny little member for it.

We have one here at the house named Jesse after Jesse Helms, my favorite senator from NC.

bingo.

The LW kooks and DUmmies are just furious that Bush IS making inroads into the black communities and they are also seeking out the GOP as the failed RAT policies of the DNC Plantation masters have left them wanting and hungry for real solutions.

That's not funny.

Taking on dump on MLK's grave is NOT funny. It would not be funny to make jokes about taking a dump on George Washington's grave? (Well maybe certain LW fruitloops would..)

Taking a dump on the rent-a-mob gimee gimme protesters would have been funny.

Money doesn't create jobs, innovation and investment (slight difference from money) create jobs.

The left doesn't care about markets. They care about getting paid.

Hmmm. Lots of white people protesting Bush's visit to MLK. It looks like the same riff raff, different day.

It appears to have been a cloudy day. Good thing, or the glare off all that white skin might have blinded some of the onlookers and media parasites...

I'm afraid to go look and see if my commiecouncilcritter, Alan Gerson, is in on this. I still remember the near-screaming match I had with someone in his office over that dopey anti-war "resolution" that he co-sponsored.

I *really* pissed off someone in his office when I asked if Gerson is aware that the gaping 16-acre hole in the ground is in his district.

That was GHW Bush, not GWB. Why are you confusing the two?

Because of this comment at the same rally - "...But the Bush family always opposed everything Dr. King did, so he's just applying for votes, that's all he's doing."
