Angelina Rodriguez, of Montebello, will become the 15th woman on California's death row unless her sentence is altered by the state Supreme Court on appeal. It's appalling there's that many women on death row in California. Why aren't they being executed? What's the holdup?

A 35-year-old woman was sentenced to death Monday for poisoning her husband with a combination of antifreeze and an oleander plant.'Asked if she ever felt sorry for her deceased husband, she replied: "Only when he asked for more."'

OK, she poisons one man and gets the death penalty. Fine.
Lee boy Malvo kills or helps to kill several people, and all he gets is 20 years or less? What is it with the American criminal justice system? Is it really nothing more than a glorified lottery?
