NOW IS THE CHANCE FOR YOU TO SPEAK OUT
In just a few days, Bush will give his State of the Union address, where he'll distort his record to paint the best picture he can for his reelection campaign.
But we know the real story.
Help us tell the real state of America's working families. Tell us your story about how your family, your neighbors, and your community have felt the sting of Bush's policies. Have you:
* Lost your job or seen local businesses forced to lay workers off? * Seen healthcare costs skyrocket? * Seen important services cut by state or local government? * Been forced to pay higher college tuition?
Click the link below to tell us your story and we'll publish a compilation of the best ones on the web in a special report detailing the real state of America's working families.
http://mailer.democrats.org/rdr/002NT071Sd0001D
We'll publish the stories anonymously and share them with Democratic leaders in Congress for use on the House and Senate floor during debates. Send your story today!
And be sure to click the link below to tell your friends or forward them this message!

Broke a tooth in 2001. Cat had kittens. Had a flat tire. My ballclub is short a left-handed reliever and a couple of bats and I have the sex life of a 90-year-old Tibetan monk.
Dang that Bush, anyways.

How disgusting! "Oh, poor me, I lost my job, It's the government's fault!"

Here's a sample: " . . Then they pulled me from the drive through and put me on fries, so I told those capitolist, impieralist that they just can't handle the truth, after all, barking "Bush sucks" into the drive through mic is my right to free speach, and neither Bush, nor haliburton, nor their SUVs are going to take that right away."

Heck, I'll submit a story. Not a fake one either. They'll love the beginning of it, but they'll frown at the end.

So how do we load the site with sob stories that sound plausible, will be cited by Dems, yet can easily be proven as fabriciations after they are dissemenated?

I'll submit my story:
I quit the job working for a liberal Democrat in Florida, and started my own business, where I do the same thing and make 4 times as much money. Now I'm going to purchase one of those 6,000 pound SUVs and take that huge tax deduction!

Maybe if enough people send in stories, Gephart won't have to roll out any of his "imaginary friends".

They're going to have a hard time topping the story of
Polly Toynbee, a newspaper columnist for the London Daily Guardian, who fell for the Nigerian Bank Scam, and claimed that it was all Bush's fault!

But who will even do the research to prove it? The lamestream media? Right.

But what about those of us that are much better off? In the past 3 years I've had more than a 25% increase in salary, a promotion, I refinanced my house (10.5% down to 5.25%) and bought a new F-150 pickup. Except for the refinancing it was all accomplished through busting my hump. I guess that doesn't fit the formula the dems are looking for.
To: Jimmyclyde
I'm a Democrat.
And I've been voting Pubbie since 1998.
Publish THAT.

I think we ought to innundate these morons with truthful, but long-winded tales, that either tell them how much better off we are with a real leader at the helm; or, with great sarcasm, deliver one of those "my dog vomited on the carpet and ruined it" it's-all-Bushes fault tales of woe we can all conjure.
Let's treat this as we would a media poll. Couple of thousand of these should keep them hopping for a while.
To: Jimmyclyde
Here is a contest. See who can get the DNC to publish their fictious story!

I burned my (paid off) mortgage and took vacations to Alaska and Istanbul, Turkey. Life is good for this empty nest household of self-indulgent baby boomers! Thank you President Bush! Pitooey to the Dems who whine and cry that the sky is falling.
