Mo, are you still up from last night? How are you going to function today?

No .. I got a couple hours of sleep, but Mike had to go into work early today to work on some project and he woke me up.

But that's ok . he's on call this week so I will get to sleep in late

Yep. I'm used to seeing mule deer wander through on occasion, but lions are a whole nuther matter. The heavy snows seem to be driving everything down this year. On the upside, I guess our 5 yr drought is ending.

That's a sad story, both for the dog and the cougar.

It's sad that the cougar was starving and had to come looking for food in someone's yard.

Sadder for the poor dog and heartbreaking for the family.

I never let my dogs outside except for a few minutes in the fenced portion. We have alligators in our lake, although I've never seen one in our yard.

Yea .. having a mountain lion cruising the neighborhood would be a bit un nerving

It seems my kids are having a hard time waking up for school this morning

I think I'll go sing to them in a really loud voice .. I'm sure that will get them moving *L*

I wasn't able to use the computer yesterday after I got done cleaning....it was "otherwise occupied" all day.....oh well, I got a lot done on a project, so, that's okay. But I will be working two jobs today, so I won't be home 'till late tonight.....I'll only be able to check in again later....sorry I won't be able to bump the thread, again today.

We had about 8" of snow overnight, looks like, but we're having a real "heat wave" otherwise:

Observed at Syracuse, New York
Temperature 30 °F / -1 °C
Windchill 21 °F / -6 °C
