The last straw would be if he signs the extension to the assault weapons ban this year, as he has said he would. If there is anything that would piss off enough of the NRA vote to stay home instead of going to the polls and swing the election, that would. Someone needs to show Karl Rove the vote of the 2000 elections in Florida again before he advises GWB to keep ignoring concerns of the base vote.

I agree. Just on this site alone, I'm amazed at how many have sworn to vote Bush out of office. In surfing around, most people are furious. He may well be a one-termer.
