... and it's precisely these same narrow, awful types -- make book on this one; bet the rent money on it, if you like -- who will be the absolute first in line to demand that their various and sundry "demands" and issues be accorded Super-Duper Top Priority, in the event of a second Bush term. AFTER having publicly announced their adamantine intentions NOT to vote for him in '04, and NOT to donate to the party.

The word "clueless" does suggest itself here, doesn't it...? :)
