The issue is with opposing fans wearing their colors in OUR Stadium.

If I buy a ticket, I should be able to wear whatever the hell I want, and cheer for whoever I want, without being attacked by the other teams fans.

Ultimately, even football is just a damned game; Are you saying you condone assaults against people for the offense of supporting a rival team? Maybe football isn't really the right sport for you - Have you considered moving to Englad and becoming a soccer fan?

I believe strongly in giving crap to people that show up in the wrong jersey (and yes the jersey of the visiting team is almost always the wrong jersey, unless the home team is Arizona or San Diego or somebody like that), but it should never go past pg-13 and you should be able to shake hands at the end and wish them a safe trip home.
