Some say a neighboring farmer shot the dog "accidentally" but it really doesn't explain the hanging part.True. lol

in painting the entire group That was not my intention; But there are far more boorish Eagles fans than I've witnessed in other cities.
I didn't live in South Philly, I lived in Delaware County, but I worked in the city, and saw more than a few.

Ultimately, even football is just a damned game;
You take that back right now!
Have you considered moving to Englad and becoming a soccer fan?
Or Mexico.

No, I am not a Bears fan. I grew up in Wisconsin during the Lombardi years. I drank Wisconsin water into adulthood and I have a green and gold helix in my DNA. I am a Packers fan.

I always liked the Eagles, but this is such a classless rant that I truly hope the Pack beats them this weekend. As someone else said, this should be e-mailed to Green Bay's coaching staff immediately. It's not funny, it's just plain mean.
For anybody from PHILADELPHIA!!! of all places to complain about another team's fans is so far beyond hypocrisy as to be ludicrous.

Having said that, I hate it that the Bears have been lousy these past years. My co-workers can't believe it when I say it, but I like the Bears. I hope they hire a strong coaching staff.
Now, the Minnesota Vikings on the other hand......

You will this time. Last time, it was the first week Favre played after the thumb injury. We were winning for most of the game and suffered a 4th quarter letdown. It simply won't happen again if the cirumstances are the same.
But, I don't expect the circumstances to be the same.

My dad used to talk all the time about the great Wisconsin food that he couldn't find anywhere else. The sausages and cheeses. He also loved white soda. He also tols me about the restaurants he went to (of course, this was 1983, so things change) where the plates were practically overflowing and the price was low. When he came to Arizona and would ask about it, everyone would tell him, "Oh. Seven-up is the same thing." (they aren't) He also would say that he was sure the sun in Arizona must make people lose their memories, since they could not cook right here.
As far as odd things. The cheese thing is one. (my husband still says he knows the Wisconsin is coming out of me when I get really mad and say I'm cheesed off) Every winter the news reports something silly that Wisconsiners have done because they were bored with being inside (bowling themselves down bowling alleys was one).

painting the entire group of eagles fans as Neanderthal thugsThat can't be correct.
I'm sure most philly fans are just your average street supporting, free mumia types.
(Freepers being the exception, of course)

should be a great game. From the analysis I've read it seems that Phiily has the home field advantage and GB has all the other advantages.
Philly is injured (westbrook and key defensive linebacker out). Do I remember correctly that McNabb is also playing somewhat bothered by an earlier injury?
GB is healthy. (Of course Brett is still nursing his thumb but he's thrown at least two 300 yd games and a couple 4td games with that same thumb. The guy's unstoppable)
GB has momentum, beating some very good teams big and some after tough fights.
P sitting on their duffs watching others play
Philly has suspect run defense. and limited run offense
GB has #2 rusher in NFL and substantial run defense to boot. They stifled L Tomlinson pretty well and shut down Both Denver and Seatle running game
If Philly copies the Seattle game plan and moves the safeties to the line Favre and his highly talented receivers (any one of the twelve or so will do) will cut them to ribbons. If philly doesn't defend against the run Green and company will cut them to ribbons.
Philly's receivers are less talented than Seattle's.
GB's receivers are putting up huge numbers right now (Walker averaging something like 23 yds per catch!?)
GB Offensive line giving up no sacks and very healthy right now.
GB gave up fewer points in the second half of season than any other team except for New England. Defense is clicking along nicely.
And of course the feeling among GB players and fans that they are a team of destiny and that even though they know that almost every other team can beat them they will somehow find a way to win. They are playing confidently and hard.
Philly has the home field advantage but has lost 3 games at home. They now have to face a team on fire that seemingly has destiny behind them.

addendum:
Revenge factor. GB still remembers the game at Lambeau. We held Philly to ten straight punts just before the final score. We won't let you get away this time.
GB will score over 30 points.
I'll put the final at GB 38 Philly 21

Hey, now, let's just put this back in perspective: This was published in the Philadelphia Daily News. The only time this rag gets mention here is when a few of us Phialdelphia area Freepers post an article for ridicule. This is the paper that uses the "word" "Dissed" in a serious news story ("Saddam Huissein again dissed the United States")
One of the worst writers for the DN is one William Bunch, author of this horrid screed that I didn't even bother to get all the way through.
Here's hoping for a game for the ages!

I was surprised to know the Beagles are an NFL franchise. I thought they were a travelling prison team.I can see how you think that, considering that there's not a single player on the roster who's ever been convicted of a crime or even disciplined by the league for anything.
We'll see how your "vaunted" run defense does against Ahman, Najeh, and Tony.
Pay attention during the season, will ya'? There's nothing vaunted about our run defense... they give out 100 rushing games like candy on Halloween. During the 9 game winning streak, I believe only one back failed to rush for over a buck. The Eagles defensive line has been decimated since the beginning of the season, and it's only gotten worse. Yet somehow, they keep on winning (11 out of their last 12, last I checked).
