Since when? The only time Fox is decent to Bush if when immigration is mentioned. Remember, when Bush needed Fox and Mexico at the UN prior to the Iraq war? Fox has hauled the US to the ICC in the Hague recently. Fox refused and publicly embarrassed Bush regarding a visit to the Crawford ranch. Fox is still reneging on the water to south Texas.
If Bush INVITED him to the Crawford ranch ... there is nothing Fox could have done to "embarrass" the President. He understands the unique political limitations and changing domestic contingences that influence every National Leader he works with. The fact that Fox was INVITED to the Crawford Ranch speaks volumes to me. Bush understood fully that any number of developing political events within Mexico or in our international priorities that that would have to preclude Fox's visit. GUARAN DAMN TEED. Bush lets Putin posture, the Saudi Royals posture, Blair posture, Sharon posture and Fox posture because they are American allies. Chetrien, Schroeder, Chirac ... they're not invited to Crawford!!!
