You're quite the piece of work.

In real life, of course, you'd be quite respectful towards me. Groveling. Your kind always is.

I hate that.

Now go pester someone else, OK?

Are you sure? Geometry is like an ad hominem attack, isn't it? Isosceles triangles are codewords for isolationists, and trapazoids really infer race-baiting done to move threads to the Smokey Backroom, no?

Your cultural ignorance is showing.

I'll accept that. So what's a "monckey-boy"?

So Buckaroo Banzai is now cultured? LMAO I'll bet you think LOTR is a great allegory of the state of humanity. Geeze.

Every year or so, I, for some odd reason, wander back to FR, and inevitably allow myself to be baited by some of the real masters of the practice.

I hate when that happens.

I think I'll be taking my leave again.

You may now resume your self-stroking with abandon. Bye now.

I'll bet you were Ms. Popular up there in Seattle, eh?

LOL - I have a beautiful chocolate brown leather Packer jacket, and I opted not to wear it Sunday afternoon. I went stealth with Packer accessories. : ) (I haven't been to Lambeau since the recent changes - I'm dying to see that Lombardi statue!!)

The only problem was the wind chill factor and the long security lines ... imagine patting down THOSE winter coats!! The Brown County sheriffs and Ashwaubanon cops better have been getting triple time. They didn't look too comfy.

I'll bet a Sunday/Monday night game in September there would be heaven on earth.

I completely agree, and I plan to spring for that ($$$) next season. I need to see Favre in person once more (I went to the Packers/Seahawks game at the Kingdome back around '96 or so) before he retires.

Oh toughen up. I was just having some fun with you because of your tired old threats of some non-existent "base" that "has never voted for the GOP and won't ever do it again". I voted no on the immigration plan just like I hated Reagan’s amnesty. I still think Reagan was a great president and I think GWB has the potential to be just as great. Go if you like but for crying out loud if you want to be the "base" then you need to lose the threats. Do your best to change what you don't like but at least try to think about the reasons why a POTUS may have to do one thing you hate in order to do another thing you can support. Politics is not a zero sum game, it is full of decisions that you or I, as an individual, would never make but as a national leader must be made.

Believe it or not, I was at that game too! It was a 31-10 game, last Sunday in September. Favre had one of the greatest improvisational scrambles in his career on one of the Freeman touchdowns. Robert Brooks got knocked out cold, that I remember. Lots of Packer fans there.

Sure, the details were a little "hazy". LOL. Man, was that Kingdome a DUMP! Garbage and maintenance equipment strewn about everywhere.

I was visiting a relocated girlfriend of mine there. I used to tease her that Mt. Ranier didn't really exist (every one of my visits were overcast), that it was airbrushed into the postcards by the Seattle tourist commission. Eventually, she drove us all the way up into Mt. Ranier Park above the clouds to PROVE it existed!

If you've already contacted them...DO IT AGAIN! Do it morning, noon and night! Give them not one seconds peace!
Get on your homeboys, people. Unless we get the numbers which will make them fear for re-election, it will be all over. There will be no going back. This is the showdown on the Immigration Issue. If you've been following along, you know that these people are costing the American taxpayers billions per year. They're taking jobs away from hardworking American citizens. They're draining our resources and giving very little back. This is it. If this is allowed to pass, we can quite literally kiss this nation goodbye. The massive population transfer that will take place is unspeakable. Do it now! Fight for your country and way of life!@

PUT A STOP TO IT NOW OR WE CAN KISS THIS NATION GOODBYE...LITERALLY.

It's NOT a migration, it's an invasion! Don't let them get away with this! SCREAM! Call toll free:

a person from Mexico who used pick lettuce now has taken your dad's computer job.
Crap, I missed this one. NO, my father was replaced by an Indian , from India. A "legal" migrant worker. Not just on one job, but on several jobs he had. He even had to train a few of them for one company so they could take over his job. Then he was canned by the company. This was caused by the wonderful H1B and L1 visa program. How stupid do you think someone from Mexico is ? You think they are incapable of ever taking your job? How much training would they need? There are alot of out of work techies out there who thought their jobs were safe. A bunch of stupid Indians proved them wrong.

Your vote is easily replaced and has been replaced so rant all you want. It doesn't make a darned bit of difference.

Or you're forgetting that Bush didn't win by a a landslide --- maybe you forgot the recounts --- where ever vote did matter. Gore actually won the popular vote but Bush won the electoral votes --- but only by one state.

It's a Homeland Security move, a humane and ballsy move,

How on earth is a Homeland Security move? Tens of millions of illegals to be given "blue cards" which allows them to come and go as they please? Nothing stops them from selling or forging this card --- just like nothing stopped them from selling or forging Social Security cards, birth certificates and the famous green card. And where are all the immigration agents going to start when they millions of applications begin pouring in? And no one believes illegals are going to go back to Mexico and wait in line for the government to process these --- this does nothing about the organized crime rings producing fraudulent documents, it does nothing to stop illegals from crossing the border --- it will encourage more to do so.

I don't think this is in the best interests of our nation. Unless Bush has a plan in place for who besides the taxpayers will pay for the health care and for the education of the children the guest workers bring over. Do background checks cover things like HIV and hepatitis and TB?

I think that Republicans might believe Bush cannot win --- and he desperately needs the votes he might gain from this --- even if Congress doesn't pass this, the illegals will turn out and vote for Bush anyhow. They know this will cost him some votes from American citizens but figure there could be enough of a gain from the Mexican citizens' votes to outweigh the losses.

You guys just can't figure Bush out.

Maybe not --- I think Vicente Fox is calling the shots on this one anyhow --- not Bush.

Don't worry FITZ, as is the case with government, all of the rest of us will be forced to get ID cards.

Just like the I-9 form that was meant to deal with illegal aliens after 1986 (no one has ever been convicted of falsifying an I-9 form) but forced natural born citizens and others to PROVE we were citizens to get hired.

You are correct. They'll find a way to forge or sell these documents. Government bureaucracy, especially on the federal level, can't run a lemonade stand.

Eventually, this will HURT our security. Remember, of the 19 Saudi terrorists that committed the 9/11 horrors, most of them were here on INS Visas or work permits.

Then he will lose. Or not. Hell he didn't get their vote then so why bother? You just don't get it, I could care less if a bunch of babies hold their breath and stamp their feet. It is infantile.

Fitz, you think they're giving these cards out like street hawkers handing out coupons for a local pizza place? "Take 5, tell your friends."

The card is NOTHING. It's the vetted, identified and legitimized interloper in our midst that is important. Keeeripes. You guys are failure groupies.

Just the fact that this thread is dedicated to contacting the WHITE HOUSE shows how silly and reactionary the blood enemies of immigration reform are.

Bush just laid out his initiative today. What good would sending him e-mails of outrage do? Is he going to view the torrent of outrage like an NFL Ref peering into one of those sideline monitors after a challenge, call another press conference and say ... "Upon further review ..."

He's handing off the proposal to Congress. Contacting them would be productive and smart.

Productive and smart just will never be part of the equation on this issue on this forum. It's an FR circus. An ugly circus. Like, say, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1954. Animal cruelty will be in play.
