Well, happy anniversary! Did you read the part on the home page about "addictive?" You're sunk, my friend, it's already too late...

Dada, thank you for posting this. I guess "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" doesn't apply to Ohio.

Claire Wolfe and the crew at the Claire Files and Liberty Round Table are true liberty lovers, very uncompromising. They are true believers in Goldwater's axiom, that "extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue", a truth that has largely been forgotten in the days of GW.

This is also why I don't think most FR readers will care about them or Hunter's plight. But it is nice to see that there are people on the site who do care! If I were in the area, I would do as one poster suggested and blanket the area with FIJA pamphlets.

If you only manage to wound a deer, you can then mace it, wrestle it down to the ground with your bare hands, and execute it with the .38 at point-blank range.

Two handguns in holsters on his pants? A .40 and a .380? And this guy decides to speed?

That's pretty much a Darwin moment if I ever heard of one. Hell, even in Arizona, if you pulled that, you'd gather some pretty strong questions from the state troopers.

Then commit seppuku with the sword when you find you've already used your last deer tag and the game warden approaches, ticket book in hand and smile on face.

Its been a blast so far. I lurked for a long time before getting an account here. This place is pretty much the Library of Alexandria when it comes to conservative thought, speech, and ideas.

Sure. I agree the guy is stupid, but it still doesn't make 2 handguns and 1 rifle with the swords, mace, and the other stuff mentioned in the article an arsenal.

Any one who considers 2 handguns, 1 rifle,7 knives, 2 swords, and some teargas an arsenal, doesn't get out much.

Depends on where you get out I suppose.

Two semiautomatic pistol magazines in a belt holder on the front of the suspect's pants
Loaded .40-caliber handgun -- I carry a loaded .45
Loaded .380-caliber handgun
An additional loaded magazine -- I usually have 3
7 knives -- At least one or two
2 canisters of mace -- Doesn't everyone carry at least one?
Handcuff key -- 2 sets of cuffs, 2 keys
Machete -- Of course
Several swords -- Still looking for one.
.308-caliber assault type rifle --Only when I go to the range
About 1,000 rounds of assorted ammunition -- Unless I'm going to the range, only about 100.

That's what's normally in my car. When I went to the range more often, I'd have at least 1000 rounds in the car all the time plus whatever handguns and rifles that I was going to use that day.

The only time that I gave it a thought was when algore was in town and my route to the gun range crossed his route into town and the roads were swarming with cops. The most dangerous thing that I had in the car that day was hundreds of copies of the Constitution and some anti-government and anti clinton literature. A stop then would have proved quite interesting.

Welcome to FR.

I'm sorry...I was under the impression that this was a conservative, pro-bill-of-rights forum...perhaps I was mistaken.

The Second Amendment was not written only for states that happen to have pro-liberty governments. It is a right to be enjoyed by all U.S. citizens along with the right not to be enslaved. I didn't expect to have to debate that here. Is this site infected with RINOs or something?

Also someone asked where it says Jordan is a Free Stater. The article I pointed you to does not mention his membership in the Free State Project. My source on that was NH FSP member Mike Lorry, from the following URL:

I just had an interesting thought. If the Freestate project were to actually happen, they could do away with the governor, state legislators and the courts...since every citizen would be the final arbitrator of all things Constitutional.

Wow...Attack of the killer RINOs.

"Every citizen" seems to be doing a better job of this than the existing courts.

As long as "every citizen" agrees on everything it would work.

When was the last time you saw libertarians agree on much of anything? Granted, the thought of several thousand armed libertarians working out who has the greater Constitutional argument sounds entertaining.
