In this case Judge Greer was the trier of fact. Under our law judges, as triers of fact, determine the facts based upon evidence and credible testimony.

As far as I can see the allegations of a "courthouse betting pool" (which was the subject matter of the post you responded to) are not based upon any stated evidence or credible testimony.

Hearsay is no "highest level of" fact no matter what any Judge might declare. And the rotteness of that ruling should pierce any custom and practise of professional respect a Judge anjoys when ruling on such matters. If it is not corrected it begs a train of further abuses and berobed rotteness to follow.

Why will Demers not just pass this case on to the new judge? Is he wanting to hold on to other cases also, or just this one?

It's odd he's playing case shuffle with this case.
