If thats a 3D, it's the color rendering process. I ain't got the glasses. But from what I can tell, Hoagland and others are right. The sky is blue!

Nah, the further away something is in a 3d pic, the further the blue is from its matching red...the blue you see is just the 3d blue further to the right.
