We need a white male to run for president in 2008. Just because we have come along way in equality doesn't mean that Americans are going to vote for Women or blacks. Just because you think they should doesn't mean they will. I don't think a black person or a woman(including Hillary) can be elected in the near future. People are use to white male presidents and it's going to be hard for some to vote for anything but that.

Well, I don't care one way or the other what the sex is except in this day and age if there's a strong well qualified woman who has garnered the respect of the people then I say why not put her on the ticket in the Veep spot.
