Here, here, finally some wisdom from the Chronicle (for likely the last time this year)!
Go USC, death to the BCS. Unfortunately a good Michigan team may just throw a monkey wrench into all this.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.
However, with that said.....
I don't think USC has to worry about what LSU does.
I have been an LSU Tiger fan almost from birth and have suffered over the years watching them lose EVERY big game except the Clemson/Sugar Bowl game in '60.
It has gotten to the point that it is actually painful to even watch the games so I just don't watch.
LSU is too predictable. They ALWAYS lose the big game.

I'm a Washington Husky, so cheering for USC is basically going against every known cell in my body. But today, I am hoping they win (I will repent for cheering for them after the game if finished :) ) because the BCS needs to be disbanded! It is a joke! We need to go back to the old system of having a bunch of bowl games with voting at the end of those games. Controversy? Yes! But how much fun is it when there is not controversy?!?!
P.S. During the game I will have the sound turned off on the TV so I do not have to listen to the incessant playing of "Conquest" and "Men of Troy" by the USC band.
