[history]
The United States intercepted an illegal shipment of thousands of parts of uranium-enrichment equipment bound for Libya in October, leading to Tripoli agreeing to cap its weapons program, U.S. officials confirmed yesterday.
Senior State Department official John R. Bolton plans to fly to London today to make plans with Britain for holding Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi to his pledge to dismantle his nuclear-weapons program.

A very cool job for a lucky frogman platoon no doubt. I'd love to see the classified AAR.

I scanned article without reading every word (maybe the answer will be found therein) but what on earth is the meaning of "findled"? Is it a UK-ism?

..More on your earlier find.

This can't be true. The nice people on the TV news have assured us that
it was "10 years of diplomacy" (hmmm, who was President for most
of those 10 years?) that caused Khadaffi to come clean!
(end sarcasm)

HA! I thought the same thing, and then finally figures it out. It's a typo...should read U.S. find led".
To: JohnHuang2
Now I've read every word. Still not sure about "findled"...
I want to know why anyone should trust this guy or his precious little UN agency:
IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei said Tuesday he did not want American or British help on the ground in Libya. "As far as I'm concerned, we have the mandate, and we intend to do it alone," he said.

Duh.... I should have figured that one out! < blush >
Time to go to sleep and recharge what few brain cells are still viable.

Bump!
Back to you my friend!

The answer is France and/or Germany.
To: JohnHuang2
My husband works for a place that rebuilds and repairs centrifuges. Said the paper work was incredible and the Feds are in a lot checking it over. Owner refuses to work on one or release it if there is any question at all. So far they have all been cleared.
