Recently when at the library, I was given a pass to a computer by mistake. I realized someone had walked away from the computer when I saw that he was downloading and copying porn. The guy came back (maybe all of fifteen years old), and I very loudly asked the librarian if it was legal for minors to download porn. She refused to answer me, but I embarrassed the heck out of the kid in front of lots of other people. hehe

Liberals don't care about anything that destroys the traditional society. He could have been eleven and I'm sure she wouldn't have cared.

This is part of the problem in libraries and why the wishes of the citizens need to be followed, not the ALA. The citizens should decide if this type of thing should not happen in their own public library, not the ALA. We have read of a case where a 6 year old boy was viewing porn in a public library and a janitor told him not to. The library management then reprimanded the janitor!!

The whole reason we started this thread was that our library refuses to listen to the citizens and chooses to follow the ALA, and our township committee refuses to put a question on the ballot asking the citizens whether or not they want filters. We don't want filters in, we want the library to find out what all the citizens want, then implement that, instead of following the ALA whose interest it is to sexualize our children and expose our citizens to potential dangers. That is why we are asking all of you for help. The issue is not censorship, not privacy, it's how to get the town to do what the citizens want instead of what a union of porn-pushing librarians want.
