There's your problem not the ALA. Have you no elections? Have you no ballot referendum process? Who appoints the township committee members? Vote them out.

You are correct. We need to educate the public so they vote for new Town Committee members who will then appoint Library Board of Trustee members that have not been co-opted by the ALA or will at a minimum will allow a public question that they are right now blocking. (So much for democracy, huh?) Here is what we said previously in post 148:

Theodore R. is exactly correct. We get what we vote for. But we can't blame people who grew up not having porn in public libraries from knowing that libraries now serve porn on silver platters. Our mission is to educate people about this problem.
Now that is one possible solution. Another is to sue the Township to force them to act as they should where a library admits it is acting outside of its mission. There may be more approaches. Anyone have any ideas on how to get a town to run itself by and for the people, not by and for the ALA's efforts to sexualize our children??
