Still got a Commodore 64 in the closet. Didja know you can download an emulator for your PC and download hundreds of the original C64 games with the crappy graphics and sound on your pc?

Pretty cool, and you can play "Mule" again!!!

Hey, have you ever left a baguette out on the counter for a day or two? You could play major league ball with one after that.

After a week, it becomes weapons a grade depleted baguette...

Nope. I sold each one as I moved up to the next, more powerful one. Now I have 5 PCs and an XBox on a home wireless network and a WiFi PocketPC. My broadband is wireless too. Plus, I have two satellite dishes connected to the computers and a TiVo-like system that records shows from the dishes, stores them on the HD, and serves the shows to all of the computers. I'm itching to get the new Sony Clie or the new Sharp Zaurus Linux-based PocketPC, a wearable PC with head-mounted display, and a pair of Sony Glasstron LCD glasses.

Hell I had a boat that I paid less for. That thing was almost 3k in 1983.

Thx for letting me know - never flew AW (although I've heard some unflattering stories!). My dad flew for UAL - I got nonrev bennies till I was 24 (stretched it as long as I could). My mom got lifetime flight benefits, but she hates to fly, much less nonrev. Go figure!

I love looking up airport IDs ... it's a quirk.

Our Irish (Kelly) was like that, too. We had to keep him on a leash, otherwise he'd be off like a shot. But what a wonderful, wonderful dog! I'll go take a look at yours. He sure was great - he even grinned with all his teeth!

Is it standard proceedure to inform the passengers they are being tailed by F16s in this situation? Or would that cause too much panic?

"This is the captain speaking. We are currently cruising at 35,000 feet, ground speed 585 mph, with a slight headwind, and we expect to land at LAX in an 90 minutes. The weather in Los Angeles is clear, temperature 65 degrees. By the way, the fighter escort you can see on both sides of our aircraft is there to keep the terrorists on board under control. We thank you for flying Air France."

How about the HP-85

I had one of those for rebooting an HP-1000 system.
