Are you just reporting this because you heard something on a scanner or is this being reported by the news.congratulations! you have passed the test to become a wire service reporter or news director of any major market broadcaster, where the motto is "we don't report, we repeat."

Keep your ears on the scanner and your fingers on the keyboard.

What about Michael Jackson? If there were three names that I wish I could have banished from all news from now on, it would be Michael Jackson, Kobe Bryant and Scott Peterson.
Of course, that would kill 7/8ths of all Fox News features...

The French passangers will stage an immediate surrender dance. "Do you know how many Frenchmen it takes to defend Paris?"
"Neither do I. It has never been tried."

So, we've been giving certain flights an armed 'escort' lately?

ditto--another clever FReeper post!
To: BurbankKarl
Perhaps that explanation, that they are regularly intercepting flights and that this is just another one, could have been some of the background info in your original post. Your Breaking News post doesn't give those kind of clues.
