Are the F-16s airborne yet? I can just see the looks on the faces of the poor passangers when they see who is flanking them. The French passangers will stage an immediate surrender dance.

Other than general interest, is there a reason for listening to NORAD? Is something going on with the French airliner? Are the F-16's to intercept?

Are you just reporting this because you heard something on a scanner or is this being reported by the news.
