A 2nd BCT patrol turned up 20 rockets and at least three 155mm rounds with wires running through them rigged as an improvised explosive device (IED). The area was secured and explosive ordinance personnel later disarmed the IEDs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sounds like our warriors had a great day grabbing and hauling away these weapons.

This is all wonderful, and all, but strikes me as a bit pointless. In fact, it reminds me of the gun-contol crowd. The problem over there isn't the RPGs, Kalashnikovs, IEDs, etc. The problem is the towelheaded freaks using them. The raids which result in captured guerillas are far more useful.
