4:05 PM PST is 7:05 EST, NOT "1:05" -- so, wouldn't be schedule to land yet.

An Air France source told AFP news agency: "We are taking all reports of any threats very seriously as we are facing the most significant threat we have had since 11 September 2001 and are reacting accordingly. PARIS - French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin asked national carrier Air France to cancel U.S.-bound flights on Wednesday and Thursday because of a threat to security, the prime minister's office said. "Air France has cancelled the flights scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, December 24 and 25, between Paris and Los Angeles," Raffarin's office said in a statement.

"This measure was taken at the request of Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin on the basis of information, currently being checked, which was gathered in the framework of Franco-American cooperation in the fight against terrorism and which was of a nature to threaten the safety of these flights." Reuters, via Ha'aretz.
