The UN is completely devoted to transforming itself into a global government. They seek to end the sovereignty of all nations through a plethora of treaties, conferences, and protocols. The UN already has its hand in all aspects of life on Earth from trade to the environment. Now it not only wants the right to tax everyone, but to also have its own judicial system and military.
It is astounding to me that there are still people who support an institution that has utterly failed to bring about peace, has made no impact on the abuse of human rights around the world, and which poses a threat to our own nation. The United Nations is an international cancer tumor. It undermines free societies everywhere, serves as a platform for racism, and clearly hopes to become a mechanism by which to transfer the wealth of industrialized nations to those that can't foster (due to their socialist policies or dictatorship rule) any economic growth of their own.
The complete withdrawal from the United Nations will soon be essential if our Republic is to survive.

Many long years ago, when I was young and very foolish, I use to think that people who wanted the U.S. out of the UN, were a tad too radical. Now, I join them! SCREW THE UN!!!!

We need to jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan, more aptly called
GRAND LARCENY from under the feet of our Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us, and then sit back and watch how fast they would raise more taxes or let the United Nations anywhere near the American taxpayer.
I don't know if the UN collects any of the revenue from our National Parks where they now reside, but we should find out.

Time to exit the United Nations is long past. The USA needs to cut its losses NOW! The UN is an utter failure and only serves to support many small country diplomats in a lifestyle they could never duplicate in their own countries. We need the UN like we need AIDS.
Screw the UN! Get them the hell out of our USA lives!

The U.N. also wants the power to levy its own taxes. The original report looked at two options, a tax on currency transactions and a tax on energy consumption. "...where no man, rich or poor, free or bond, will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast on his right hand or forehead."

The time has long passed that the US stop feeding these parasites called the UN.
Kick 'em out of NY and send them packing to wherever. Enough of the high living for the UN "staff" all on the US taxpayer tab.

No more UN for US-list
If people want on or off this list, please let me know.

I will say it again.
We MUST HAVE a constitutional amendment which says that any treaty the US is party to is subject to the Constitution. Any part of a treaty found to be in violation of the US Constitution shall be null and void.

...But the prize for the worst U.N. idea probably belongs to the proposal to give governments permanent taxing rights over emigrants....
At present, China, Libya and the US tax emigre's where ever they go, as long as they live. Any country could do that, but only these three so far, are monstrous enough to do so.

The UN Tax???? - The UN wants to tax us!
Too funny. I dare them to try. The end result would be the UN building in flames.

Perhaps unrelated and irrelevant to the point of this article, I'd like to point out letters of the words "united nations" can be rearranged to spell "United Onanist"
