I am inclined to agree with you that kids of famous people should get the same breaks as other kids, though you and I know that won't happen. That said, Gore's kid is a 21 year old college guy, not exactly a kid any more. That's a little old to be riding around sniffing pot out of a coke can. Also, when you have already had two strikes, as he has, I don't think he should get a total pass.

Apart from what can be seen of the condition of his weapon young Algore looks like he's ready for a major expedition in the boonies wouldn't you say? Given that; I find the empty magazine well far funnier than the apparent position of his rifle. But maybe that's just me.
