Albert A. Gore III, the son of former Vice President Al Gore, was arrested last night in Bethesda, Md. for possession of marijuana.
According to Montgomery County police, Gore was driving a dark-colored Cadillac through downtown Bethesda around 11:30 p.m. with the car's headlights off.
Police officers who were conducting a campaign against impaired driving during the holiday season stopped the car and noticed that despite the freezing temperature, all the car's windows were open as well as the sunroof.
When the officer spoke with the driver, Mr. Gore, he smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car.
When officers searched the car, they found what appeared to be a partial marijuana cigarette near the center console area. They also found a baggie of suspected marijuana inside a cigartette box and a crushed soda can with an odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the can.
Gore and the two passengers in the car were charged with one count of possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. All three were released pending trial.

Now you are just being ridiculous. You've changed my mind though. We should feel sympathy. Just like Ted Kennedy felt soooo much sympathy for Mary Jo Kopekne when he murdered her. Or like how Bill Clinton felt all that sympathy for Juanita Brodrick when he raped her. Or Al Gore, jr. when he tried to steal the Presidential election and incited racial violence by claiming that blacks had been disenfranchised. I could go on and on. I'll show them sympathy when they stop being evil and trying to destroy my nation and my way of life.

I guess we will see another "tearful" speech by Gore seeing how he can exploit another family tragedy to his own benefit.
BTW--nice job parenting there "stinky" Al.

Gore and the two passengers in the car were charged with one count of possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. All three were released pending trial. Isn't it funny the other two passengers skate as far as their identities being revealed...........Wonder who they are......I couldn't help but notice how quickly the description of the possession of mariuana was noted as "a misdemenor". If this had been the Bush girls, it wouldn't have been noted that possession was a "misdemeanor". Right??

There is a lot of that Clinton/Hubbel/Rodham/Gore "puffiness" among the lefties.
All seem to age well before the average person does.
Now just what could cause that?
It sure is not eating sub samiches.

Unless he had the marijuana on his person one of the others will take the fall.If it was just in the car one of the others will claim that it was his and Goreboy will get off.
Someone may take a fall for Algore Jr.Jr. but I don't see why. All persons in the car are at risk of arrest after this recent ruling:
The Supreme Court Allows Arrests of All in Drug Stops

Albert III has a previous criminal record:
1. Suspended from St. Albans for pot possesion.
2. Reckless driving
3. DUI
Looks like it's jailtime for Albert III.

Since the story made the news, we know that Gore is not on the Dems' A list anymore.

I believe that ruling relates to those who want to shirk their personal responsibilities. If someone stands up and claims it is their property then there's nothing more to done.
To: hocndoc
Hitlery-Clark probably wrote the Washington Post story themselves.
To: Sub-Driver
The tax cuts gave him the extra money to be able to afford the marijuana. So, again, it's Bush's fault.

Like father like son?
Sure hope not for the kid's sake.
Just think, this kid could be doing mentoring from inside the White House.

I had the strangest thought today...(yes I'm admitting
my crazy thinking here, but....with the Clinton's and their mad-dog strategizing, you never know what's in
the works)
Al Gore endorsed Dean before Hillary
went to the Middle East right?
Well, what if Hillary went there on a
mission. And she told Saddam "to get in
that hole" so that Bush would get attention
and defeat Dean's chances at the nomination?
And now Gore's son is arrested???
Do you think Gore is on the Clinton hit list?
To: Alamo-Girl
I did not mean that.....
I mean the facial appearance of those who overindulge in booze and use "herbals" as the media said of algore eyeeyeeye when he was only 13.....
Few people have aged as badly as Hillary has.....
Hillary looks a good 15 years older then she is.....
Her "baggage" increases by the second.....
Then there is the other extreme of Nancy Pelosi with her "enhanced" facial features.....
