I'm amazed that we were able to keep it quiet for the several hours the DNA testing took.DNA identity confirmation takes two weeks.
I think it is more likely that real DNA testing has not been done (rather than having had him for two weeks), but it certainly has not been done in a few hours.

Rapid PCR may be available... You can amplify DNA in a few hours.

Idenification of SH: Immunological tests like blood type and HLA typing can be done quickly. DNA tests takes a while.

Well, maybe U.S. Forces have known for a week where Saddam was, or had a pretty good idea.
How long will it be before the RATS start demanding that Saddam be turned over to the UN? Any bets?
