To: Ragtime Cowgirl
Talked with someone in BIAP CPA recently, the locals are loving it despite what the reporters might say.

If you could see how the people here live, thatch or adobe huts, picking through open dumps and landfills, donkey carts, and the like, then see the palaces of Baghdad, you'd be angered like any human with a shred of decency.

Someday this will make a great story since I've been in theater since before the war and now post-Saddam.

It's going to be very difficult for any press, Ba'athists, or terrorists to cover up the opinion of the Iraqi people, now that Saddam's gone, I think (hope!).
