Are you sure he was attacking? Dane does tend to be a little bit blunt and gruff - that's how he is. Could it be that he was, in his blunt gruff way, trying to tell her that she is not to blame? I son't know. Why not ask him, instead of attacking him outright?

It is a pre-meditated sadistic act that was not a genuine expression of thought.

You are spot on. Dane was angry that someone could hurt another person so horribly. He sent prayers her way, etc. My read was that she wasn't to blame.

I don't think Dane was trying to hurt anyone, least of all Mrs. Chris.

I didn't mean to be blunt and gruff, if it came out that way then I apologize.

But I still stand on that suicide is an of selfishness. The hurt it causes to people left behind is immeasurable, as shown on this thread.

I really didn't mean to be insenitive, and grief is emotional, and I empathize with the anger directed towards me, but does that mean stating an opinion that suicide is selfish is forbidden. I have learned a lot by posting on this thread, and life, IMO, is a class everyday and we learn from it everyday to make ourselves better people.
