Well look at all the pro-drug threads here. I'm not surprised at all. The internet crowd seems to be almost entirely drug addicted.I'm pro-legalization, and yet I've never taken any illegal drug, not so much as one puff of marijuana smoke in my life. I've been trying to drink more alcohol for health reasons, but it's hard because I'm not naturally drawn to it. I manage about two drinks a week, and I like beer. My only addiction is book collecting.
When I see someone who's rabidly anti-drug, I strongly suspect that that person is a recovering addict who doesn't trust himself where drugs are available.

There's that part I guess out there, first-hand experience with the destruction. I've only seen it second-hand, lost friends and so on. But thankfully I was able to learn by their mistakes, and not my own.
