I'm also frightened a bit.

Now that I live in a country where child porn is freedom of speech and political talk isn't, the government is too large to be supported in years to come, and anyone who can get across the border is more important to the politicians then me...I'm not jumping at the bit to head to the polls.

Bush's base is dying, and I know Hillary's is jumping at the bit.

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood.

Oh, terrific! You are buying the propaganda and in a funk.
Just what they want. Vote for Bush early and often. A depressed Bush voter, if depressed enough, will stay home on election day. Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.

"Bush's base is dying".......... Not necessarily so for polling data is showing an increasing trend toward conservatism in high school and college age youth. They are realizing more and more their fate hangs in the balance of retaining more of their income less taxes due to dying and inept government programs. They also want to have a safe country for raising their kids and see Bush as more of a protector and back a strong military.
