YEP! it is!
we've had so much rain this year (MORE than FOUR FEET above normal!!!!) that my grass DROWNED TWICE this summer.
i did NOT replant grass a THIRD time, and i just gave up for the year. thus she frequently sends me pix of GREEN GRASS & an occasional MUDHOLE, too.
it's a HOOT! (and i've always wanted to be a HOOT!)

You know, I heard tell that you can plant grass seed under the snow and it will sprout in the spring! Have you tried that?
My problem has always been, when I sow my seeds it turns dry and they die out! I think I'm going to try to do some seeds as soon as we are expecting more snow! Ground is indeed wet enough! Can't lose.

I was enjoying the sight of lush flora and fauna in Kauai and I come back to snow and freezing cold. Just heard that we might have more snow again soon! ARGH!
