A new accusation emerges from the family of a severely brain-damaged Florida woman against her estranged husband. Terri Schiavo`s family is urging a judge to reappoint an independent guardian in the case, because they claim Terri`s husband Michael is engaged to another woman. The family says that`s the motivation for Michael`s belief the feeding tube sustaining Terri should be removed. That would likely cause her death.

In court papers filed Monday, Terri`s family is also urging the judge to allow the guardian to decide if the marriage can be dissolved.

I'm surprised they are just bringing this up now. As I recall, when MS's mother died, her obituary reported he was engaged to Jodi, with no mention of Terri at all. That was in 1997, I believe.

This should have been pointed out after MS did his interview with Larry King, when he said he and Jodi had not made any marriage plans.
