Time will tell..... Right now the story is being dribbled out in pieces at best by the rushie and his Kennedy lawyer and the investigating group.... So I don't know what he was taking nor how much, who he was getting it from [legal or otherwise], was he telling each doctor of the all the meds he was being prescribed, was he getting more for outside sources such as the maid.....

Lots of unknowns at this stage but there seems to be some smoke.... or maybe just the hint of smoldering embers yet to flame up...

P.S. Now that I think about it, it would not have been at the same time the maid was supposedly supplying him.

This article says March to Sept. and I presume they mean this year 2003.

The maid said she was supplying him, I think it was from 1998 to 2000.

Oh please, build a shrine for Rush and light some candles. He is an entertainer, he does schtick on the radio. He is a DJ that found the right schtick and he started to believe in it when he started making some dough. But then, Rush forgot what the real world was, he spent his time surrounded by sycophantic yes men, flew in private jets and chauffered limos around town, started hanging out with the beautiful people and became a junkie, all the while lying to his adoring but blind fans. Now he is spinning again to keep his butt out of prison. I hope he recovers, but I can't believe a damn thing this guy says.

And yes, his show is a SHOW, he did well, bully for him, but if you blindly believe his sincerity all the while, then I got a bridge to sell you. I don't expect perfection from him, but Rush built this enormous pedestal which he stood on, all the while extolling his wonderful virtue filled life and how great he was. BS'ing all the way.

In a discussion on another thread a few days ago it was pretty much established that the last time any of us remember him talking about Marta in any detail was when his step-daughter went off to school and left her male cat and Marta took it to be neutered.

Other than that I think someone thought he thanked family and friends for standing by him but we weren't sure if family included Marta as he never specifically said he thanked his wife, Marta for standing by him.

I remember during the O.J. thingy, Rush's show was an oasis of "no OJ, none of the time".

Wouldn't it be ironic if FR became the antithesis of that with long winded threads of conjecture on what Rush -- and his maid -- supposedly did and didn't do?
