Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.

Mostly I'm exhausted now. Very little pain, some swelling still from the surgery.

I managed to get a small care package out to a deployed Airforce staff sergeant on the 31st, and that's about all I've done since Christmas. He's a buddy of the brother of my pastor, and the major was kind enough to get me an APO after I met him when he stood godfather to his new nephew, so I wanted to respond quickly.

Mostly all I'm doing lately is reading Alistair MacLean and Michael Crichton and saying short daily prayers lately.

Thanks again to all for their good wishes. I should be back to "normal" in another few weeks.

Eric sent a box home with some clothes and a bunch of his letters in it. While I was sorting them and putting them in a better box, I came across one from you, and was once again overwhelmed with your kindness to my little boy!
