Joining you in prayer for Alamo-Girl's great nephew, and our Cheney Chick, and for all of our troops and civilians serving in harm's way.

Our 'friend' in Iraq is now making regular convoy trips to Baghdad and back, where ambushes occur too frequently, and solo gringo's grandson is traveling to Germany and then finally home for Christmas for R & R.

Could you please add your prayers for their protection and strength as well?

One more, not meaning to be selfish, but could you add archy's name to the prayer list? He shares his military wisdom generously ~ to the young (and not so young) ~ instructs recruits, works on ways to save the lives of our troops.

Thank you for joining us in prayer for Alamo-girl's great nephew, for our own Cheney Chick and all our troops. Thank you as well for all your encouragement and kind words and your own efforts on behalf of our troops.

I realize I have been seriously AWOL in my replies on this new thread. My apologies.

BLESSED MERCIFUL FATHER,

WE bow our heads together and we are humble before your altar, for we are praying for the protection of each one of our young heroes who have seen battle, or are pledged to do so. We are praying for our friends who are working along side our troops doing support work of various kinds under contract, particularly those who have been making regular convoy trips to Baghdad and back, where ambushes have been occurring. We are praying for our people in the intelligence gathering/analysis functions.

Father, we pray for solo gringo's grandson who is traveling to Germany and then finally home for Christmas for R & R. Overshadow him and all our troops in all of their travels. Place special protection angels around and inside of all forms of conveyance any of our troops, support, and intelligence personnel will be using.

We are praying for each of our young veterans who have been injured and are in the process of recovery at Walter Reed and any other military hospital or treatment program. Let our nation never ever forget their service and their sacrifice for wearing our nation's uniform and being willing to be in harm's way for us.

Let all our troops, support, intelligence, and those serving this nation in any capacity be granted increments of strength, courage, and wisdom in order to fulfill any and all assignments and/or missions you have for them.

We thank you for these heroes, and we call forth your blessings upon them. Let your divine Will and Plan become manifest throughout our military and this nation and the world.
