Our fellow prayer warrior, tiki has requested that we place our attention and prayers this night and the days to come on the terror alert which has been announced by Tom Ridge.

BELOVED MERCIFUL FATHER,

During this holy time of celebrating Hanukah and coming now into the last days before Christmas, we bow our heads on bended knee to you in supplication. Father, our nation is at war, here on the sacred ground of our homeland. It may not appear that way to the outer casual eye, but we know that there are forces operating which have the mad desire to kill us and destroy our culture and civilization. And yet, it appears, many are asleep.

But also many of your children in this nation, Father, hold the belief that you have personally guided the development of Western Civilization, with its concept of the Rule of Law, from the democracy and Golden age of Athens, to the Republic of Rome, from the Magna Carta to the US Constitution, and now the dawning day of a new Constitution in our Father Abraham's homeland, Iraq.

Father, we, your children, who love and adore you, and work to adhere to the precepts in your sacred scriptures, affirm this day that Freedom is our birthright, by your divine grace and Will. We affirm that this nation, because we still continue to declare that it is "one nation under God" and is worthy of being defended.

Father, except for the notable exceptions of injustices occuring on both sides between settlers and indigenous peoples, a revolutionary war and a bloody civil war, this soil has thus far been largely spared the wars and shed blood most of the nations of the earth have had to bear. But this circumstance has changed. We have now been attacked in the heart of two of our great cities by a wiley, cowardly, enemy. 3000 of our brothers and sisters wiped out in one blow is a significant number, but Father, we realize that the plans and the hatred behind those plans call for numberless numbers of dead Americans and the total destruction of our infrastructure and ability to sustain our culture and way of life. FAther, we place on the altar this precious nation and her people and we do consecrate and reconsecrate it has Holy Ground, and we pledge ourselves to be in your service.

Lord God, awaken our leaders! Awaken our people! Let those who are in positions to observe, be made aware of any plots, plans, preparations, or plotters. Guide them to do the proper action with the knowledge you bring them.

We ask you Father, in a very tangible way, to speak to our President, his cabinet, all our military leaders, our Representative, and Senators, and all who are our police and public safety officials as to the proper policies and procedures which must be pursued at this time. Father, we place upon the altar the entire situation concerning the problem of illegal aliens and the protection of our borders. We place on the altar any and all actions taken by the enemy against us.

While we have concerns about safety, and we wish to truly be responsible for being good stewards of the physical property of our nation, Father, we also have concerns about preserving our freedoms while we are working to erradicate terrorism in our midst. Father, guide us and help us to achieve the perfect balance between using those preventive police powers and protecting the rights of individuals and private property.

FAther, we are grateful for your constant loving care. We are grateful for our greatest treasure, our young men and women who have put on uniforms of our nation's military. They are actively fighting and some are dying in order to protect this homeland from the enemy. Please let not the sacrifices these ones have made be taken for granted. Let not our people have the attitude that they can hit the snooze button one more time! FAther, it is time and past time for our people to unite in full waking awareness that danger is here, and it is here NOW! Help us to have that alertness, and yet not succumb to paralyzing fear. We have no need to fear, for we declare and affirm this day that you are in total control of our individual lives and of this entire nation. Instead, let us each one adopt a consciousness of "I AM THE GUARD!" Vest our sincere prayers for this nation with your power to expose the enemy and bind him and to bring him into the hands of those who can administer justice to them under your Law.

We thank you our FAther. Place your angels and a grand chain mail of your power and protection and wisdom over this nation as a mighty canopy of light. Adjust our calls to be perfect, for we never desire to pray amiss. Let not this Holy Season be marred by hatred, but rather let there be a genuine and deep peace abiding in this peoples' hearts. This is the Holy Miracle of the season we ask of you this year, and to you goes the glory for all the answered prayers thus far, averting disasters we know not of. We are grateful for the Light of Hanukah. And those who are called to believe, we are grateful for the Light of our Savior born. Nevertheless, we pray not that our lesser human will be done but only thy own magnificent perfect Will.

DHS THREAT LEVEL: ORANGE Specific Threat Information

21 December 2003-- A somber Tom Ridge, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security announced the increase of the color coded alert to "Orange" today, stating: "The strategic [intelligence] indicators, including al Qaeda's continued desire to carry out attacks against our homeland, are perhaps greater now than at any point since September 11th. Information indicates that extremists abroad are anticipating near-term attacks that they believe will rival, or exceed, the attacks in New York, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania."

The Northeast Intelligence Network has been actively investigating raw data from a number of various sources, including human intelligence from government officials obtained by Mr. Steven Quayle as well as a variety of information obtained by network analysts around the clock since the middle of last week. Specific intelligence obtained by this network determined the following:

1. There are four or five "teams" of terrorists, consisting of four or five members per group who already have, or about to acquire the same number of air cargo planes for use as missiles against US targets as they did with passenger aircraft on 9/11. Although it was reported by DHS that the aircraft are believed to be originating outside of the US, our information suggests that some or perhaps all are already within the continental United States, although their locations have not been confirmed.

2. Some or all of the terrorist groups are believed to possess some form of weapons of mass destruction, exacerbating the impact (or perhaps releasing the cargo in flight and prior to impact, depending on the nature of the WMD).

3. The targets include government facilities in Washington, possible strategic military sites in the US, nuclear power plants, and other sites that would create the greatest devastation and loss of life.

4. In conjunction or in addition to the above, evidence indicates the possession of a nuclear device, devices, material or materials already inside the continental US.

5. Also in conjunction with the events described above, other operatives appear to be in place to hijack or otherwise use tanker and cargo trucks as "Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices" (VBIEDs) as we reported on 22 November 2003 and 9 December 2003.

6. Time Frame: the anticipated window of greatest exposure appears to be from the present through 2 February 2004, although based on the dramatic increase of communications and the content of the same, events appear to be planned for the Christmas and New Year holiday season. (It is important to note that the timing of a planned attack is "dynamic" and based on operational opportunities).

Father in Heaven,

WE call forth your immediate help and the dispatch of legions of your angels from St Michael's bands to expose any and all teams of terrorists with their cargo planes intended for use as bombs/missiles against governmental, military, strategic, critical infrastructure or large population centers. Place your All Seeing Eye upon those and expose the terrorists who may be in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction or nuclear material before they have the opportunity to strike! Father, we call forth thy infinite mercy and plead with you to disrupt any and all communications, plots, plans, preparations against us, or proper functioning of evil equipment according to your own divine Will. Please deny any terrorists the opportunity to place into action any plans or deeds against this nation and our people.

We call forth the protection of our highways and our trucking industry from any and all attempts to hijack or use trucks in any way as terrorist weapons. FAther, we ask for your protection of any and all persons who may be in the front lines of risk from terrorists. Particularly we ask for the protection and guidance of our law enforcement and public safety and rescue people. We call for the protection of any and all pilots, airline workers, cargo carriers, airport workers, power plant workers, railroaders, infrastructure personnel of any kind, or truckers who might be assaulted, hijacked or kidnapped. We ask that you will be a constant Presence with your angels and all the Powers of Good you see fit to muster on our behalf until the threat is ended. We call for miraculous intervention, according to your perfect Will in this entire situation!

Father, as we have prayed before, please grant us as a people the requisite alertness but let our people also not be bowed by fear or intimidation. You have placed a great light of love and courage in the hearts of your people. Let that courage and love come to the fore and be the true reality. Let our leaders have courage and wisdom. Guide them in finding and executing your God-ordained policies for the protection not only of our people and infrastructure, but also for the protection of the very flame of Freedom which you have vouchsafed to us.

Father, we place all of this on your altar, and we place ourselves and our nation in your hands and the disposition of your Will. We can do nothing else, and nothing else is as effective. Grant us the Faith to stand staunch without fear in the face of these continued threats.
