Dear TEX, you're apologizing? Lol, thank you for being here for the troops, and those who love 'em. Thank you for #93, and praying in agreement with you!

Praying for our troops who find Christmas especially difficult for whatever reason, that God may fill them with the Holy spirit, bring them comfort and ease their loneliness.

Also, we have a new Soldier for the prayer list, the beloved son of Freeper Debi, Sgt. Emerson Brand, serving with the 4th ID, in Samarra.

Debi lets us know that this area in the Sunni triangle is under attack often, filled with Saddam Hussein loyalists, enemies who are against our troops.

Please pray for Sgt. Brand, and the protection of our 4th Infantry Division troops and civilian support staff.

Thank you!

LOL Thanks for your kind post 130, Rags.

We are very pleased officially to add Freeper Debi's son, Sgt. Emerson Brand, serving with the 4th ID in Samarra. We have been praying for him since you posted, but at this time I would like to offer a prayer for him and a few others who have been added to our list.

We also are pleased to pray for stand watie and his buddy MAJ Frank March,USAJAGC. Maj March is in Baghdad, and stand watie reports that there is a chance he will be called to go over soon. Freeper dcwusmc has also requested prayers.

OUR MAGNIFICENT, MAGNANIMOUS, FATHER

We place before your throne our friends and brothers Sgt. Emerson Brand, Maj Frank March, USAJAGC, Freeper stand watie, and Freeper dcwusmc.

We are grateful for these fine men, who are answering the call of our nation and the Holy Cause of Freedom. We ask that you will, in your tender mercy, care for them and dispatch angels to guard them and guide them while they discharge their duties.

Father, we ask that you will wrap each of these with one of our special prayer blankets woven from our prayers and your divine love, compassion, mercy, healing, courage, protection, strength, power, wisdom, and justice, in perfect proportions, each according to his need.

Father, grant these young men perfect insight and reflexes in any and all dangerous situations. We pray for the safety of their bodies and lives, but particularly we pray for their souls. Father, we know that some in our armed forces may be struggling with depression or despair. Father, swaddle these who are in pain with an extra garment of comfort for the healing of any and all stress and distress. Let each of these be granted the special gift of being able to reach out and find that they can tangibly touch the hand of our Savior when they are in need. Let each of them feel the closeness of the Presence of you, their Heavenly Father. Succor them with the Holy Spirit.

Father, we remember their families and loved ones. Help them through any and all trials which challenge those who wait. Grant them all the gifts of peace, joy, and patience during the hard times.

Father, this which we call forth for these special friends, we call forth for any and all of our troops and their families. Let our prayers be adjusted according to thy Will and administered by your Son and His angels.

Amen
