I agree, McConnell's not much of a point in his favor. But those who tolerate NO negative comments about Dubya, regardless of veracity, are, IMO, about as "conservative" as Bill-n-Hill. They are the intolerant bigots of the left who demand tolerance for THEIR views and grant none to anyone else's. Hardly someone I would care to call an ally!

The question is would this guy be any more conservative? From his own mouth, no. In fact he would be a lot less.

Therefore the issue is moot. Like I said earlier, I trade up, not down, when I trade.

Thank you for standing up for freedom of expression and fundamental democracy. One of the primary reasons I accepted the rather implausible reuquest that I run -- on a powerful and singular platform -- is that I want to encourage more participation by "common citizens" in the electoral process.
