She is coming off the fence and wants to try to coopt the troops for a 2008 bid.

But, they HATE her.....even she isn't stupid enough to believe that anything she could ever do or say would ever cause the military to change their mind or feelings.

Then why say it? Why go over there at all then? I guess she belives the media will shield her. I think she was testing the waters, and found out they hated her, and then said those as kind of a plan B; She was unable to elicit the positive response she sought from the troops, so try and get it from the people back home. I certainly cant understand why she wuld say such seditious things, if a repub had done during Clintons Balkan adventure, they would have been run out of town. The more I type the more I realize that this story cant die. We must keep the pressure on..
