Toby of Fox's Bulls & Bears just declared Dubya the winner next year, (with no detractors). Watching the scum stumble over the superscum is rapidly becoming the best sitcom on television!

I hope you can send me a link to an article somewhere that our president attended a funeral or met with a family or member of a family somewhere in the US who's son was killed in Iraq because on turkey day, you know what the topic was with rat family members. I am aware that he met with a few families when he was in London and also that another family refused to meet with the president. As was said on turkey day by a family member, if Bush met with ANY family here in the US, it would definitely be in the news whether the president wanted press or not because that would definitely come out somewhere. THANKS!
I see that Arizona has provided a link to one such visit from last week (Thanks, Arizona!).

Remember a nursery rhyme (paraphrased with some added words) that fits the liberal left's thinking since Bush pulled a coup and the left is eating his exhaust fumes and crying to the liberal left media:
Libs are made and we're glad
We know how to please them
Give them ink to make them stink
And let witchy Hitlery schmooze them.

Orrrreally?
And all this while I thought he was Polish!
[But I never for a second believed other than that the nime dwarfs and their ideological fellow-travelling "DemocRATic" potty prezedentialle candidate, the Hitlerist-Trotskyist, Lyndon LaRouche -- and every other of the Earth's Marxist-Hitlerist fascissocialists -- was an envy-motivated and hatred and rage engined mean-spirited psychotic!]

There is a billboard here that says, "Character is what you do when no one is watching". That is what President Bush does.

THANKS so much for the link. The article says he met with some of the families but he didn't attend any of the funerals. Also, it appears that some of the families, one in particular that was written about, chose NOT to meet with the president.
Does anyone know WHY he hasn't attended one funeral at least? We all know he can take off and go as he pleases due to his visit in Baghdad.

He does not want to upstage them, and prefers to take criticism rather than turning private grief into media events.
I think he's correct.

Perhaps you could write President Bush a letter and tell him of your concern for his not attending funerals. You are assuming that he has not attended even one funeral. I don't know with great certainty whether he has or hasn't or how many he has attended if so. If he is simply visiting with the families and not attending the funeral, it may be because he thinks that is their own personal time, not his to intrude upon? I don't know. If you do write him, I would be interested in the reply.
Thanks.

Hillary must've choked on her wishbone.
If there had been a fly on the wall in Hillary's offices, who do you suppose got the reaming out for not knowing that Bush was going to steal her thunder(thighs)???
They find some reason to criticize just about everything a Republican does. They have to step into their own shoe scrapings sooner or later with the voters getting the message about Bush in a positive light.

Do you think her handlers would ever had let her take that risk---that she would be boo'd rather than cheered?
I have faith that our good men and women in uniform would just ignore her, they would not boo her. They would be barely polite.
To: 07055
but they get a double benefit because they know that they won't have to challenge the dead soldier's ballot next year.
That is a topic that has been bugging me lately. Free Republic needs to get to Bush and get the military ballot issues cleared up before next summer starts. There are going to be a GREAT number more of them in 2004, and we don't need to disenfranchise them any more than Gore did in 2000. Any ideas out there?
