I've had serious reservations about this war in Iraq from Day 1, but I really have to take my hat of to President Bush right now. The political astuteness of this administration, and their ability to stand firm on an issue and head off calculated moves by their opposition (e.g., Hillary in Afghanistan) is absolutely astonishing.

That picture is file footage. The soldiers are wearing the wrong style of camo for this to be from Iraq. I think the photo is from when Bush visited some troops here stateside--somewhere on a base in the southern US during the early days of the invasion or just prior to the invasion.

The soldiers in & around Baghdad are wearing desert style camo. I would think that most of Al Jazeera's viewing audience would have been jarred to see that woodland camo in the background and had to know it wasn't actual tape of the president in Baghdad.
