President Bush secretly landed an hour ago and is currently eating Thanksgiving dinner at my undisclosed location. Anticipate a press release after he takes off.

I hear two reporters were given the heads-up on this. Anyone know who and what channel got the scoop.I heard one was Jim Angle of Fox News, but I haven't looked around to try to confirm that.

Just found this from another thread.
Card invited two reporters on the trip Tuesday night on the condition that they keep it secret. Other reporters and photographers were brought into the secret on Wednesday, some of them searched out by White House aides in Texas just hours before the president's departure. In all, the press contingent included five reporters, a television producer and two-member camera crew, and five still photographers

Plus, they have a thread going over there about how sad and lonely many of them are because they are spending Thanksgiving alone.
I'm not kidding. Check it out.

...Do you have picture of Bubba with the troops where they were disarmed first and force to set by him....
This was asked before, but I missed the answer. Did they disarm the troops before Clinton visited them?

DU is bad - but some of the comments from a number of disgruntled ex-Freepers at tlf are nearly as vile. They sound like a bunch of leftists over there.
It's good to be happy and proud today. : )
Happy Thanksgiving, deport!

Why would they want to even celebrate Thanksgiving. It's not a politically correct holiday.

Card invited two reporters on the trip Tuesday night on the condition that they keep it secret. This reminds me of some war correspondent during WW2 who were given the heads up on operations. They would not dare mention it for fear of harming our troops.
A long way from Nam when reporters said they would not give away operations of the VietCong if they were on a story.

If I was daschle, I would be deeply saddened. But I'm not. ;)
Thanksgiving must be a particulary depressing day for liberals. They believe in nothing, give thanks to no one, and have nothing but a cynical outlook on America's future.

Check out how the Troops are trying to ignore her: I feel sorry for the poor troops that had to break bread with Hitlery. And what a contrast between the Hitlery and GW visits. Everyone at the GW dinner was obviously joyous. Those near that pompous, self serving gas bag "thing" were somber. Everybody in the Military understands both GW and Hitlery's motives.

So Bush is in England? Ireland? If you'd read the article, you'd see he was eating in Iraq, with the Troops, like a good Command in Chief should.

Check this out:
The presidential historian Douglas Brinkley, appearing on CNN, called it ``a perfectly executed plan'' that would be ``one of the major moments in his biography.'' It would have provided ``an incredible thrill'' for the American.
And American citizens.
