I really hate to see illegal aliens included with Medicare. This is just a "bite of the enchilada". V. Fox is happy.

This bill has a provision for when the illegals get amnesty and are legal, Sec.605. Our congress-critters didn't leave out a dime. They have all the illegal immigrants covered.

(3)INCLUSION OF COSTS INCURRED WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN ALIENS- This is the loophole for the large hospital corporations. Before the Mexican ambulances can bring patients to hospitals in the U.S., Mexico must have permission from a U.S. hospital administrator who works directly for corporate headquarters. Now the hospitals will receive more money so therefore they will take more patients from Mexico.

I may be wrong, but that is my take on that section of this bill.

This bill doesn't promote illegal immigration. It merely reimburses the cost to the states who have to carry the buden of congress's failure to seal our borders. It's not Texas's fault that INS doesn't work. It's not Texas's fault that they have to give medical care to illegal immigrants. This bill just gives money to Texas for having to put up with the monetary burden. Support H.R. 2671 so this crap can change.
