If you watch any of the financial cable TV shows that are aired during the Thanksgiving Day holiday, you are sure to be exposed to a healthy portion of bullish sentiment. The market is going to continue to go up and everyone knows it. There will be a host of reasons why the new bull market will continue that will be buttressed by various economic data. There will be Wall Street analysts with stock tips aplenty, including recommendations to buy retailers, homebuilders and of course, technology companies. Im expecting a festive atmosphere; similar to Thanksgiving of 2000, when CNBC had a band in the studio playing, I Got the World on a String, Sitting on a Rainbow.Got gold. Got silver. Got popcorn . . . and I got turkey!!
I'm callin the bully-girls. Placed my regular monthly order for 100 1oz silver rounds today. Let's see what they got.

Also in attendance will be the famous Jeeves butler character. No, sir, I fear I will be calling in sick.

I hate these mis-named "market wrap-up" posts. I keep expecting to see what the market did today, but it's always about what happened in 2000 and 1933!

WOW !
I watched the TV pundits & pickers last night and then K & C tonight. They were doing a little pickin too (not guitars or banjos). You've gotta buy now ! The worse the stock the better, just make sure it also has a big name. 44 out of 52 yrs this has been true. I wonder which 8 yrs they're leaving out ?

I've been lurking these threads for a while and want to thank you for posting them.
While I think that in the intermediate to long term the probabilites for high inflation are very good I will wait to buy my gold after I see a confirmation of the COTR.

Some day I'll read a chart and it will be interpreted correctly. As it is now, charts are always a rationalization of the analyst's opinion, which would have been correct if it hadn't been for .....(fill in the blank of your favorite techie).
