Radio KFWB 980 in LA broadcasting "Muslim Call to Prayer" and in need of some SERIOUS FReeping

I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.

This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.

To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. There are about as many Muslims as Jews in the US. When they broadcast their faith, it is no more "shoving" it "down your throats" any more than when a Christian or Jew broadcasts their faith.

As an IT person, I have witnessed what you speak of first hand but I have also taken the opportunity to learn from them...

It is a simple concept of total contributory negligience... With regard to women, the burden of temptation is completely on the woman... The saddest part about that part of the faith the power being abused by men... I think of this woman in Africa they were going to stone to death but the man could not be prosecuted because there were no witnesses...

From a legal stanpoint, the question very simply is this... Do they have to leave the conservative elements of their faith in the mosques and in their homes... Once they are on the highway, in the workplace, etc, are they not subject to the equal protection, anti-discrimination, sexual harrassment laws just as everyone of us in this country...

That is, to me, the best argument for the separation of church and state...

You follow the laws when representing your church when you are in church and in your home but in the public setting, you have to follow the laws that all citizens in this country do... I would hate to find myself at a Dodgers Game no longer able to sing (though I do not sing well) "Take me out to the ballgame" because I am subject to arrest by the religious police for saying something other that "God is Great!"

I'll admit I don't know very much about Jewish teachings, but I'm fairly confident that their "rules of the road" so to speak, dosen't include a passage about making those of another religion submit or die. It may be worded differently, but it's right there in their little book of hate, for all to see.
